The tonal brightness of maple is just one of the perks, alongside the super-wide and flexible tuning range, so this three-piece set can form the core of any all-rounder kit. The 22 inch by 14 inch kick drum features 7mm-thick 8-ply walls, while the 12 inch by 8 inch hanging tom and 16 inch by 16 inch floor tom both feature 5mm-thick 6-ply walls and, to add some extra-unique flair, each shell has been given a Black Clouds & Silver Linings finish and decked out with smoked black nickel hardware.

Thanks to the deeper toms and kick, this is the rock-configured edition of the Starclassic set. And, since the shells are supported by a set of Die-Cast tension hoops, the Star-Cast tom mount system, Quick-Lock tom brackets and a pack of Evans drumhead, all you need is your preferred stand pack, and you can build yourself an uncompromising, high-end kit.
